Repeat Prescription Request
There are a number of ways you can request a repeat prescription
By visiting the surgery
You can drop the request slip in the 'Repeat Prescription Box ' inside Surgery Porch, using the request slips provided.
By posting the request slip
If you have any difficulty travelling to the surgery and do not have anyone to drop it in for you, you can post it, taking into consideration the time it takes to arrive by post, be generated and dispensed. Please provide a stamped addressed envelope if you require the prescription to be returned to you.
By telephone - This line will cease to exist from 1st June 2020
By My Health Online
My Health Online is a service provided by National Wales Health Informatics Service that allows you to access your practice online. My Health Online includes a number of optional features, including:
- Checking, booking and cancelling appointments.
- Checking your medication and ordering repeat medication.
- Updating your contact information, including mobile phone number and email address.
Your practice may not offer all these features. Ask your practice which ones are available.
Registering for the service
Registration using a PIN and Access ID
To get access to all the 'My Health Online' features, you need a PIN and Access ID. to get these, visit your practice with photographic identification (such as a driver license, passport of bus pass) and ask to be registered for 'My Health Online'. The practice will give you your PIN and Access ID. Go to the 'My Health Online' website, On the login page, click Create an account (this will be renamed to Registration in the future) and enter these details when asked. The system will guide you through the process of setting up a My Health Online account.
Free Repeat Prescription Service
The Free Repeat Prescription Service (FRPS) is offered in many of our Pharmacies providing patients with a simple and convenient way to receive their repeat medication. Medicines can also be delivered using our Pharmacy Delivery and Collection (PDC) service.
