Appointments

Please telephone or call at the surgery to make an appointment. We have two types of appointment, booked GP and emergency on the day appointments. Each appointment is for 10 minutes. The GP may not be able to discuss multiple problems in this time.  If you have several problems to discuss and feel you need more time please ask the receptionists about making a double appointment.

Pre-booked appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. You will be given a choice of appointment date, time and name of doctor.

We also have the 'My Health Online' service (link on right hand side of page) which is provided by National Wales Health informatics Service that allows you to access your practice online.  The service includes a number of optional features, including:

  • Checking, booking and cancelling appointments.
  • Checking your medication and ordering repeat medication.
  • Updating your contact information, including mobile phone number and email address.

To access the 'My Health Online' service you need a PIN and Access ID, to get these, visit your Practice with photographic identification (such as a driver license, passport or bus pass) and ask to be registered for 'My Health Online'.

Emergency on the day appointments become available on a daily basis. On booking you will be given an appointment time but you will not be able to specify which doctor you see.

Any Patient who has not been seen for three years or more (or within one year for those aged over 75) are welcome to make an appointment for a check-up consultation with the Healthy Lifestyle Advisors.
